The NEET 2021 Counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The NEET Counselling will be commencing from the month of June 2021. The counseling will be conducted through online mode and the qualified candidates of NEET 2021 will be called for NEET Counselling 2021 Process. NEET is the National Eligibility Entrance Test is organized by the CBSE in order to offer the admissions to UG Medical and Dental Courses (MBBS/BDS).
The Counselling of NEET 2021 will be conducted to fill the 15% All India Quota Seats only, rest 85% seats will be filled through state counseling. It will be conducted in 2 rounds and if the candidates do not get the allotment of seat in the 1st round or if they got the allotment and still they want to participate in the 2nd round, they can change their choice preferences and lock them again for round 2 NEET 2021 counseling. The MCC will release 2nd round seat allotment list.
Who is Eligible for NEET Counselling?
Candidates who will qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be eligible to apply for counselling. Candidates who will obtain a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for general-physically handicapped) in NEET 2021 will be considered qualified in the exam. Further, the ministry releases a list of qualified candidates under All India Quota excluding candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to take part in 15% AIQ Counselling.
